This facility has lots of Publix space. The basement has a large modern kitchen, eating area, Japanese style reading room and a laundry. The first floor has a check-in area and lovely coffee shop. My room upstairs was small but nicely laid out and the bathroom was clean if somewhat small. Honestly the hostel far exceeded my expectations. He location was excellent; near lots of restaurants and a gather space for a small market-like open area with a fre musicians. I would stay there again and recommend it to family and friends. The staff was very friendly and helped me call a taxi among other things. The cafe had an excellent selection of coffees and teas but a very limited breakfast menu. However the food I had for breakfast was delicious and I ate at other places for other meals.

This stay was exceptional! The lobby had a calming atmosphere, an open space great for reading or doing work. The room itself was minimalist and very clean. The staff was also super kind, offering to call me a cab to and from other places I was traveling around.

Cong Sen Backpackers Hostel ligt in Taitung, op 5,1 km van Taitung Night Market en 3,1 km van National Museum of Prehistory. Very nice owner. He let me check in early. Very clean and comfortable. I departed early in the morning and he still made me breakfast-very nice! Even gave me fruit and an energy drink for my bike ride. Cheers!

Taitung Ohana Sky Hostel is gelegen in Taitung, op 5,9 km van Taitung Night Market en minder dan 1 km van Taitung. The owners are a lovely couple that would make you feel more than welcome! Their kindness is the highlight of the stay. Otherwise, the facilities are clean and of good value, not too far from the train station. Highly recommended!

Dulan The Travel Bug Bistro Inn is gelegen aan het strand in Donghe, op 12 minuten lopen van Strand van Qianqiao, en biedt diverse voorzieningen, zoals een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een bar. Nick was amazing, as well as all of the other staff, even Anna :) Great music, great vibes. This is the number one spot I would like to return to in Taiwan. I had fun surfing, and the trip to the canyon was great as well.

40Inn Backpackers Warehouse biedt gratis WiFi en ligt in Taitung, op 500 meter van het Taitung Railway Art Village en op 700 meter van de Taitung Zhonghe Temple. The owner and staff person were both extremely friendly and helpful. They gave lots of activity and food recommendations and also helped me call local businesses to check their hours or book things for me. The owner even gave me a ride on his scooter to the e-bike rental place because the rental place said to hurry before a tour bus was scheduled to arrive. The vibe was very homey and the owner and staff would often hang out at night and just chat with me about what I did that day and stuff. They were really easy to get along with and it was a super welcoming vibe, unlike the very transactional default of any other hostel or place to stay at. I found myself looking forward to returning to the hostel at night so I could tell them about whatever funny thing happened that day, and I felt like I could ask them for help if I ever needed it during my time there. Also there's a very cute, friendly, and quite big orange cat who lives there (but he's out of sight most of the time).
