I've stayed in various hostels in the past but never did I stay at a hostel that offered so much to its residents. The staff was immensely friendly and helpful, the hostel cute and colourful. I particularly enjoyed the back terrace where we could have breakfast or enjoy the still warm evening air. I felt safe from the level of security put in place, and all the utensils (in the kitchen) and the beach commodities (towels, surf boards, etc) put at our disposition made the hostel feel welcoming and full of adventures. Plus it was really clean! The location is great if you want a beach holiday, but there are many buses that would take you to the town centre, and the airport.

I’ll 100% stay here again next time I’m in San Diego!

Becky and Dave are amazing hosts, we were offered chocolate on arrival and the property they call home is so thoughtfully laid out, from the room with the ocean sound machine, to the delicious breakfasts cooked by Dave, these two went above and beyond, even accomodating our gluten free request with special food. Their recommendations of activities to do in the area were amazing and I know we have made some friends for life with these two free spirits. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for a home style accomodation in northern California or anyone wanting to explore the stunning Redwoods!
