It was in a great location. walkable to town and shops. It was very welcoming and comfortable. Quiet and cared for property. Plettenberg was beautiful. The owner, Vinthi, was a great host. wanted to extend my stay, unfortunately, it was booked.

The banks of the Touw River are a 5-minute walk from Fairy Knowe Backpackers Lodge. Free private parking is available on site. Every year I visit Fairy Knowe it improves. The staff are always extremely helpful and the vibe is great! You can do all sorts of activities, and there is live music at the bar on the weekends (week days too in season) All round great experience. They always go above and beyond to make my experience a good one. Highly recommend this lodge and Backbackers! The rooms are super cosy if you feel like being more private! The bathrooms are super clean. The location is great with INCREDIBLE food options in the town! Thank you for the incredible experience. I’ll be back in December.
