I really loved the owners. They were incredibly friendly, helpful and even invited me for a barbecue with them. The room is fully equipped and as a bonus is well equipped kitchen :) WiFi works well. The location is also amazing

The location is simply stunning in all its parts. The landscapes, the tiny river village in which the hostel is located, and the bungalow which are essential yet comfortable.
Sure this is a place where you have to go if you are adventurous yet, there is hot-water, all the necessary and more to cook, and the host is fully prepared with the scheduled smart-blackouts.
The host is easygoing, interesting, and really give good suggestions if you ask. (Ask him on how to get there from Johannesburg you will save a couple of hours of travel)

This is by far one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in and highly recommend it. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, it’s very clean, the location is beautiful and the staff help you sort out safaris, transport etc making for a really relaxing and enjoyable stay.
