The newly renovated two-bedroom apartment is located in Alpenhotel Dachstein complex ( restaurant/ wellness/ spa on site) with a wonderfully green, calming forest view. Quite, spacious, family friendly. 10 minutes drive to Lake Hallstatt in the heart of the beautiful Salzkammergut. Fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with TV, two bedroom with bunk beds, two balconies and a bathroom. The kitchen offers tea, coffee (10 capsules), spices, napkins, tea towels, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine, orange juicer. Washing and drying machines (working with coins) are on site. The running hotel has a restaurant and a very well-kept wellness area open every day available for guests for an additional entrance fee - it is not included in our offer. We are a family of 5 with small children. The apartment is our holiday home, what we designed for child safety and equipped like our home.

Ideal starting point for winter and summer activities in the UNESCO World Heritage region Hallstatt Dachstein Salzkammergut. The most famous destinations in the area are very close: the world cultural heritage city of Hallstatt (9km), the imperial city of Bad Ischl (10km), the Wolfgangsee region (18km), the Ausseer Land (20km) and the Mozart city of Salzburg (60km). SUMMER: enjoy the many lakes around, the numerous mountain bike and cycle routes, hiking trails offer the opportunity to explore the surrounding mountains and lakes. Some hiking trails start directly from the property. WINTER: ski areas close to the apartment: Obertraun: Dachstein Krippenshtein (20min), Ebensee: Feuerkogel (30 min), Gosau (20min), Altaussee: Loser (20min) and the very famous SHLAMDING Olimpic zone (60 minutes) In winter a shuttle bus runs from the village to the Gosau ski resort. The apartment is best suited for guests arriving by car! During the winter - however the road to the hotel is generally well maintained - beware, in Austria snow chains are mandatory.
