We are a well travelled family with a love of hosting. We speak a few different languages, and manage our properties from all over the world, though some of us live next door! We cannot wait to welcome you.

Property information

Spend the night a stones throw from Lake Constance (Bodensee) and its nature reserve, surrounded by mountain views in our traditional wooden frame Austrian farmhouse. Our two bedroom apartment enjoys views onto Swiss lower mountains of the Apenzellerland and is a 15 minute bike ride, or 30 min walk from Lake Constance, Bodensee, through nature reserves. We're also 11 mins drive from a small swiss ski resort (perfect for kids), or 40 mins drive from fantastic Austrian ski resorts like Bödele and further afield to Montafon. Perfect for those wanting a peaceful stay in a beautiful traditional Austrian wooden farm house, our apartment is for up to 5 guests, with a supermarket and 3 restaurants nearby at walking distance.

Neighbourhood information

Gaissau is a beautiful traditional Austrian village located on the Swiss border next to Rheineck. A short walk from a train station, the old Rhein river and lake constance (bodensee) nature reserve, it is the perfect blend of village life with undisturbed nature.
