Cozy retreat in the heart of Gloggnitz! This 60 m² apartment sleeps up to 5 guests with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, living room, private bathroom, Xbox, and washing machine. Just 10 km (10 min) to Rax Seilbahn and 10 km (12 min) to Semmering Ski Resort, it’s the perfect base for hiking, skiing, or exploring Schneeberg. Cafés, restaurants, and direct train connections to Vienna are nearby, combining comfort, nature, and convenience.
Hi, I’m Balazs! I love meeting new people and helping travelers discover the beauty of this region. Hosting gives me the chance to share a cozy space where guests can relax and feel at home after a day of exploring. I live just 5 minutes away in Reichenau an der Rax, surrounded by the mountains and rivers I enjoy so much. The Rax is my top recommendation for anyone who wants to experience breathtaking nature, whether hiking in summer or skiing in winter. Outside of hosting, I’m passionate about cooking and renovating properties — I especially enjoy designing and furnishing spaces to make them both comfortable and welcoming. Guests have the flexibility of self-check-in, but I’m always happy to share tips and recommendations to make your stay memorable. For me, the best part of hosting is seeing guests enjoy their trip and knowing they feel at ease in the space I’ve created.
The apartment is perfectly located in Gloggnitz, a cozy town surrounded by mountains and nature. Guests love the easy access to both Semmering and Reichenau an der Rax, making it an ideal base for exploring the region. In just 10–15 minutes you can reach the Semmering Ski Resort, famous for winter sports, hiking trails, and the historic Semmering Railway (a UNESCO World Heritage site with breathtaking views). In Reichenau, you’ll find charming cafés, the elegant Reichenau Castle, and the starting point for hikes up the Rax mountain, one of Austria’s most beloved outdoor destinations. Closer to home, Gloggnitz offers shops, restaurants, and direct train connections to Vienna, so you can combine a peaceful mountain retreat with the culture of the capital. Whether you’re here for skiing, hiking, or simply enjoying the mountain air, the area has something special to offer in every season.
