Located right in the center, just 100 meters from the Goldjuwel, is Goldegg Castle, which serves as an important cultural and educational center in the Pongau region. It is home to the Pongau Local Heritage Museum, a seminar and cultural center, with the heart of it being the Cultural Association SCHLOSS GOLDEGG, founded in 1982, which hosts the Goldegg Dialogues. Additionally, there is a painting academy and a café located here.
