The charming historic-style house was completely renovated in 2022 and is situated in a quiet location in the heart of Gmunden’s old town. The cozy holiday apartment is on the second floor (accessible by elevator) and is just 100 meters from Lake Traunsee. Nearby, numerous cafes and shops invite you to stroll and explore. A one-minute walk to the Traunsee Esplanade offers stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Lovingly redesigned, the apartment "Somnia" (Latin for dreams) features decor inspired by forest and nature motifs, creating a dreamy and relaxing atmosphere. Thanks to its central location in Gmunden, "Somnia" is an ideal starting point for a wide range of excursions around Lake Traunsee and the entire Salzkammergut region. Cycling and hiking trails are close by, and a bus stop is just a few hundred meters from the apartment. Buses to popular hiking destinations such as Traunstein and Miesweg run regularly from this stop. The Grünberg mountain, with its cable car and observation tower, offers year-round activities including sledding, hiking, and ski touring.
