Haus Karlich opened in summer 2023 and offers five modern, quiet (courtyard) twin rooms with box-spring beds, private bathroom with toilet and shower and free Wi-Fi. The rooms are air-conditioned and a living room ventilation system ensures fresh air at all times. There is a coffee house on the ground floor. Friday to Sunday, a breakfast buffet with regional organic products is offered from 8 to 11 am. The coffee is a specially created "Haus Karlich blend", lovingly developed by the well-known barista Monika Kager from 2beans in Eisenstadt, a taste you will never forget. Trausdorf is situated on various cycle paths and is surrounded by woods and meadows, a small stream that flows peacefully through the village. From Haus Karlich you can therefore ideally start day tours, go hiking and walking. Dogs are of course most welcome! Eisenstadt, famous for the composer Josef-Haydn and the Esterhàzy Castle, where the composer worked, offers not only culture, but also culinary delights and great shopping opportunities and chic shops that you can only find in a small town. The Csello Mill in Oslip really takes off with events of various kinds and would itself be within walking distance, Oslip is the neighbouring municipality. Trausdorf lies in the Neusiedlersee hill country, surrounded by the stork town of Rust, the festival town of Mörbisch, Lake Neusiedl, hundreds of kilometres of flat cycle paths, up and down the hills. Hiking trails through forests (Leithagebirge, Römersteinbruch, Fasangarten) and meadows.
