A Sea Pilot’s Cottage is a beautifully renovated holiday home located in the heart of Queenscliff, just opposite the parklands and beach, and only a 5-minute walk to the vibrant shopping precinct, cafés, galleries, and restaurants. Originally built in 1854 for the Sea Pilots of Port Phillip and later used by the officers of the Queenscliff Fort, Sea Pilot’s Cottage is now available for guests to enjoy a truly memorable stay. At the rear of the home, you’ll find an open-plan living area with a gas fireplace, comfortable king-sized lounge furniture, armchairs, and reverse-cycle air conditioning. The fully-equipped kitchen. The charming wood potbelly heater adds a cozy touch and warmth during the cooler months (wood not provided.) The dining area comfortably seats 6, with additional stools around the kitchen bench. The backyard boasts a garden area with a BBQ and rear double gates, providing the option to park off-street (please note, the garage is not available for guest use). The home features 3 queen-sized bedrooms with quality linen, one of which includes a TV and an office desk for those who need to work or catch up on emails. The main bedroom includes a luxurious ensuite with a soaker bath, walk-in shower, vanity, and toilet. The second bathroom is conveniently located in the laundry area and includes a shower, front-loader washing machine, and heat pump dryer. An additional separate toilet is also available. LINEN: Linen and towels are included but you will need to bring your own beach towels. PETS: YES! we love Fur Babies! Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome at no additional cost. Absolute Central Queenscliff, just down the road from the old Fort - a 2 minute stroll to the main shopping precinct, Bowling Club, Tennis Club, Churches, market, train and festivals are all within walking distance. The Beach and parklands are also directly opposite. This property is also about 6 houses from the local Police Station.
