Alamanda Cottage is situated on a beautiful acreage overlooking Port Douglas and the Great Barrier Reef. Wake up to the sounds of the rainforest, spend your day by the pool and enjoy a beautiful dinner on the deck. The perfect location for your tropical holiday, the house is situated amongst the canefields away from the hustle and bustle of the town, yet only an 8 minute drive to the main street for all your needs. This 3 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom Queenslander is situated amongst 40-acres of cane fields and rainforest overlooking the Coral Sea. You'll enjoy sole use of the property and enjoy the special touches that make this place unique: Adults Retreat, Pizza Oven, Infinity Pool, Firepit, Outdoor Dining area, full wrap-around deck, large garden and beautiful views. Our property is the perfect paradise for bird-watchers. Enjoy views of the Coral Sea while spotting Sun-Birds (you might even find a nest on the property), Azure Kingfishers, Victoria's Riflebird (one of only 4x Native Australian Bird of Paradise species), Golden-shouldered Parrot, Palm Cockatoo, and more! This property can be used as a wedding venue with Port Douglas Weddings & Hire or Uptown Hire only. Please contact your host if you wish to enquire about using this property for your next event. When staying at Alamanda Cottage it is highly recommended that you have a vehicle to get around. The property is situated about 8km from the town centre, and an 8 minute drive.

Alamanda Cottage is set just outside of Port Douglas in a secluded area of rainforest and canefields. The closest supermarket is a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive. When you stay you will have the whole property to yourself to relax and joy your time in the tropics. Port Douglas is a tropical haven nestled between two UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest, it offers breathtaking natural beauty and a relaxed, upscale vibe.
