Amalie 1 UNIT 1.... ENTER/EXIT VIA BACK LANE WAY. . Amalie Cottage is a short stroll to shops and Hotel, originally a boarding house owned by 2 spinster sisters, Hulda Amalie and Sofie Agnus. This old cottage has been lovingly restored and the main house or Amalie 1 unit 1 is now available. This has 2 main bedrooms, Large lounge with sofa's and slow combustion. Fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and laundry. Private BBQ area and off street parking. Unit 2 and or both units available but need to be booked separately. Please ring for pricing and availability. This add is for unit 1 only. THERE ARE NO SHARED AREAS AND UNITS ARE COMPLETELY PRIVATE. There are several areas with one step up or down and not suitable for anyone with a mobility issue. 2 nights required long weekends, community events, 3 NIGHTS Xmas. AND New Year 3 nights Easter, & Oct long weekend
Trev and I have a lovely broad acre farm about 30ks out of Waikerie where we grow wheat and sheep. We also have a love of the Australian Stock Horses. We have been renovating old cottages for some time now and although challenging it is great to see the old buildings come back to life.
The Riverland is one of South Australia's best kept secrets and if you are looking for a great few days or weeks, you should come and explore all that this region has to offer. You will not be disappointed. There are many venues for foodies and wine tasting, river sports, shopping, golf, horse riding and scenery. Art galleries and museums, Hotels and boat rides. Sunny days and cosy days by the fire. You really should escape to the Riverland.
