We have lived and worked on four continents and traveled extensively, finally settling in Australia. We found Maleny purely by chance and fell in love with everything it has to offer and love that we are able to share this special part of the world with others.

Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwind at our charming cottages, nestled in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Our cottages offer comfortable accommodation and modern amenities for a truly memorable stay. Whether you're here for a romantic weekend getaway or a family vacation, we have everything you need to make your stay relaxing and rejuvenating, and the cosy atmosphere and warm hospitality will make you feel right at home. We offer four beautiful, private stand-alone cottages, all with their own unique charm and character: Possums, is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage with an outdoor hydrotherapy spa, in a garden setting, ideally suited to 2 guests; Kookaburra Lakehouse is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage overlooking the lake for 2 guests; Wallaby is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage overlooking parkland and a small dam, for up to 4 guests and Bunya is a large two-bedroom, two-bathroom house with private garden for up to 4 guests. All cottages have their own parking and entrance and have an indoor wood burning fireplace. Enough wood is provided for the cold winter nights during your stay. Each cottage also has a large outdoor deck/patio with dining table and barbecue. The 5-acre property is on a hillside and hosts an abundance of bird and wildlife, including a vast variety of birds (kookaburras, galahs, cockatoos, currawong, herons, white egrets, king parrots, lorikeets and cat birds, to name a few), and wallabies, echidnas, bandicoots, possums and our pasture-fed free-range bantam chickens. We provide a delicious breakfast basket filled with local and home-made produce. From freshly baked bread, croissants and pastries to eggs from our chickens and fresh local seasonal fruit to milk and yoghurt from Maleny's award-winning dairy and cheese factory. Pets are allowed and we charge a pet fee. As we are semi-rural and part of a wildlife corridor, the property is not fenced, and all dogs are to remain on lead at all times when on the grounds.

On Burgum Pond is 2km from Maple Street, Maleny, 1.5km to the golf club, 5km to Lake Baroon, 7km to Mary Cairncross and a short drive to all the local wedding venues. There is a local Sunday market in Maleny and the Eumundi (Wednesday & Saturday), Witta (3rd Saturday of every month), Montville (2nd Saturday of every month) and Mapleton (4th Saturday of every month) markets are also nearby. There are a number of award-winning local producers such as Maleny Dairies, Maleny & Kenilworth Cheese Factories, Maleny Coffee, Maleny Wagyu, Maleny Chocolate Factory, The Brouhaha Brewery, and Maleny & Kenilworth Bakeries.
