Beyond the front street entrance is a 3 bedroom, open plan home, which feels like forest retreat with its sundeck and exotic Balinese styled pavilion backing forest. What you will love is the quality of life you can achieve while staying in urban Sydney. With a rainforest backyard you are completely unaware of the houses around you. This makes a beautiful escape in leafy Baulkham Hills, which is only 30 minutes by express bus to Sydney CBD. There are many outside nooks to enjoy and share with the King Parrots , Kookaburras and Lorikeets.

We are both artists in and from Sydney. We use the upper street level house to exhibit our work, as an art studio, and for guests. We live below in the separate apartment downstairs but are usually not be present when the upper level is rented so guest's privacy is assured.There is always an audible gasp when guests view the back area and see the bushland ,something we love to share.

Baulkham Hills is a leafy suburb in North Western Sydney. It is 30 minutes from Sydney CBD on the express bus or the metro despite being 30km in distance. This is a quicker and easier journey to the city than from suburbs much closer. Baulkham Hills location is central to greater Sydney, so you can adventure beyond Sydney driving north , South or West within 30 minutes. Baulkham HIlls region is interlaced with connecting bushland creek gulleys everywhere. These are wonderfully relaxing to explore, and the bushland entrances are just minutes from our door. Make sure you use them! Go for short jog up the street ... down the bushtrack ... around the soccer fields, tennis courts, baskets ball courts and children's playground and be back in 20 minutes. This is a very convenient location. Ten minutes drive, East or west are Shopping Malls, supermarkets, restaurants. Ten minutes north are cinemas , Shopping and the Metro to Sydney CBD and Darling harbour…. be there in thirty minutes. Twenty minutes bus ride south is Sydney’s geographic centre, Parramatta, with its dynamic visual appeal and an pumping restaurant strip. Two minutes walk from the door you will bring you to the local shops that includes take way food shops and a supermarket.
