“I loved everything about this property. It was quiet, comfortable, homely and beautiful. We sat on the verandah and listened to the birds. We went for a walk, said hell to the sheep and horses and chickens. We were very happy.”

“Tranquility, birds, sheep, trees, horses, the entire cottage, and cleanliness. Jonine was very welcoming, and her dogs were lovely. Also, thanks for the %100 organic eggs she gave us to save time from going to the grocery store. Regards, Sarina”

February is nearly here and now is the perfect time to book a summer escape..the kids have gone back to school and everywhere is quiet and peaceful again. The cottage is beautifully appointed with air conditioning to keep you comfortably cool during this hot month. You can take a dip in the lake , paddle the kayak or try your luck to catch a red fin. Take an morning /evening stroll around the orchard and vegie patch and visit the ponies and horses.
There will be milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge waiting for your arrival. I also like to leave eggs and some avocados if I have them and anything else that’s available from the orchard. I will pop over to meet you when you arrive and if you need any assistance please just message me. We live on site but like to keep our house and garden private and we also respect your privacy too
This area is a hidden gem, an easy two hour drive from Perth.
You can head into the City of Bunbury for a day out and then return to Caringal, light the fire and sit back with a lovely bottle of local wine ..maybe some treats from the famous Bunbury Farmers Markets...what could be better? Next day maybe a hike around the surrounding walk trails or a quick drive to Crooked Brook Forest to walk the trail. So many places to explore including Wellington Dam with it’s beautiful mural. Nature is all around and in winter Joshua Creek will be flowing..so beautiful
The property is in a fantastic location...there are so many things to do and see in this beautiful part of the world...we are about 25 minute drive to Bunbury and within a quick 15 minute drive you will find yourself amongst the spectacular scenery of the Ferguson valley which comes with fabulous wineries and breweries. A 20 minute road trip will take you to Donnybrook and you can also take a day trip over to
the Margaret River region as it’s about an hours drive.
