Carpe Diem Cottage is a self contained house and a 5 minute drive from the town of Tenterfield. It has spectacular views of Mount McKenzie situated on over 5 acres of land in quiet rural surrounds. It is ideal for couples, groups and families. With so many national parks, history, boutique stores, restaurants and local produce to explore and try Carpe Diem Cottage is the perfect place to getaway from the city.
Enjoy free Wi-fi while sitting by the fireplace with a bottle of wine or watch the sunset over the mountains.
Kathryn enjoys making sure all her guests have everything they need and are well catered for. On arrival she will have made a fresh loaf of bread for you and the fireplace roaring in the cooler months. Breakfasts and picnic baskets can be arranged upon request and Kathryn has a wealth of knowledge on the town and places to explore during your stay. She is always a valuable and only a phone call away if you require anything.
Carpe Diem Cottage is situated amongst residential and rural properties 5kms from the heart of Tenterfield. You will see cows and horses and the occasional kangaroo as well as other small wildlife at dusk and dawn. Carpe Diem Cottage is located 400metres at the end of a newly tarred road.
Unless you came with your horse the best mode of transportation is by car. Most national parks, historic landmarks, restaurants, shops and necessities are all located within a 10km radius of Carpe Diem Cottage.
