The bushland garden setting was very tranquil especially with all the beautiful birds landing on the deck. Its a cosy cottage, great for a weekend escape. Would love to come in winter and get the wood fire roaring.

The cottage is set in a large, open garden backing on to paddocks and the National Park beyond. The cottage has front and back verandah's that get morning and afternoon sun and ideal for outdoor living in the summer. The cottage has 2 bedrooms with the upstairs large double bedroom being an open large loft space with a reading / relaxing area within it as well. The downstairs bedroom is also a double and has a lovely garden outlook. The cottage has 1 bathroom with shower and bath. The open plan living and dining area has a wood slow burning combustion stove for the winter and the dining table sits 4 people. The cottage is located in the village but on it's edge so that a balance of village life and nature can be enjoyed. There is a boardwalk that can be easily accessed by turning left at the end of the driveway, which will take you through bush with paddock views to either Moreton National Park (turn left at the end) or up to the village to the cafe and shops (turn right and go up the hill). Early morning and early evening it's common to see Kangaroos on the back or front lawn of the property or over the back fence.

I love sharing my cottage with others when I'm off travelling to give people a chance to enjoy a country break, our charming little village, the surrounding nature and everything that the Southern Highlands has to offer from adventure to chill out. I enjoy escaping to the country and my little cottage and get a kick out of knowing that others love the chance for their own escape and to enjoy the casual, holiday feel of the cottage and surrounds.
Bundanoon is a small and cute village that has retained an old world charm and nice sense of community. The locals are friendly and helpful and it's a very relaxed village. There is a Makers Market in the village hall on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month except JAN from 8.30am - 2.00pm and you can by anything from home made gourmet food items, bric-a-brac, jewellery, ceramics, clothes and all sorts of interesting things. There are some good cafes in Bundanoon - Jumping Rock Cafe Bakery and Delicious Cafe and Deli, Primula Cafe for old fashioned hamburgers, pizza's and breakfast rolls etc. Bundanoon has a Service Station, Post Office, Bottle shop, Pharmacy, News agency, Butcher, Bike Cafe and Hire shop, Ceramic gallery, Vintage Clothes shop, Gift and Homewares shop, Hairdresser and Local pub (which also serves good value comfort food). Solar Springs Resort also provides services to outside guests such as massage and beauty services. Our village also has a public swimming pool open in summer. Bundanoon is the gateway to Moreton National Park which is amazing for views, bush walks, biking and a dip in the Fairy Bower Waterfall or the river at the bottom of the gorge. There a
