The home is casual, comfortable, stylish and welcoming, and has a lovely north facing deck with spa, spectacular views and direct frontage to the Kangaroo River. A bunk room with 2 bunk beds means that this property is ideal for families. Please note: The bedding configuration is 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a third bedroom with 2 x bunk beds Take great care with children! The river access is unfenced and whilst it is some distance from the house, the river rises quickly and flows very rapidly after rain. Strictly no parties at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken. Where will I be? The Sleepy Roo is right in the heart of the Kangaroo Valley village. You can walk to the bridge, the town centre, the pub or the service station and its food truck. It is a lovely home in a central location, with the added bonus of direct, private river frontage. Surrounded by beautiful escarpments, Kangaroo Valley is a historic town just two hours from Sydney. Stroll down the main street to discover cafes, shops, historic buildings and the famous Pioneer Village Museum. The Hampden Bridge, with its impressive Victorian sandstone towers, is Australia's last surviving wooden suspension bridge. Bush walks, unique rainforests and winding creeks will keep nature lovers satisfied, while adventurers can abseil the spectacular gorges or paddle along the picturesque Kangaroo River. The Southern Highlands and its wineries are a short drive away, as is the Shoalhaven with its pristine beaches. There really is something for everyone in Kangaroo Valley!
