Hi - we are Swell Stays, a holiday home company in the Margaret River Region. We all live with our families in Margaret River and manage houses in the Margaret River region including Prevelly, Gracetown and Hamelin Bay! We love living in Margaret River and wake up everyday feeling like we are 'Living the dream Down South'. We love our region and enjoy getting involved in all that our community has to offer - you will often find us visiting the local Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, drinking coffee at one of our favourite local Cafés (Egberts or White Elephant), joining a Walk Talk Taste Tour of our town's best restaurants & bars, visiting one of our many cellar doors to purchase some local wine or spending a whole day at the beach with the kids! We want our guests to be able to relax and enjoy all our great region has to offer and at Swell Stays we understand the importance of cleanliness and customer service, which in turn creates the perfect holiday experience for our guests. Forestview is a holiday home located in Margaret River town, which makes it the perfect base for a Margs getaway. Whether it be wineries and fine dining or exploring the many attractions and activities the region has to offer, location, location, location is key with Forestview. The Space The house is self-contained, offering a fully equipped kitchen and laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer. Reverse cycle (heating and cooling) air-conditioning to the living area and both bedrooms. Ground Floor On the ground floor you will find the large open plan kitchen, living, dining area leading out onto the decking area with BBQ, overlooking the forest. There is also a laundry with separate powder room, toilet and hand basin. First Floor Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms; the main bedroom has a king bed, and balcony overlooking the forest, the 2nd bedroom has a king bed and 1 single bed, a great space for two couples or a family. Upstairs there is also a large bathroom with shower, spa bath and separate powder / toilet. You can park the car outside the house and walk from one end of town to the other or take a 10 minute drive and find yourself at Main Break surfers point down at the beach, not to mention some of the best wineries in Australia! Whatever style of holiday you have in mind, Forestview is a great base for your getaway! Other things to note No Pets: sorry, strictly no pets. Linen: linen is included in your stay. Margaret River is the perfect place for a break from the rat race. Base yourself within the CBD and you’ll have access to all the region has to offer. From award-winning wineries and restaurants to empty beaches, tall-timber forests, world-class surf breaks and ancient caves. Farmers markets on a Saturday morning, lunch at one of the many fine restaurants followed by a swim at a secluded beach. What more could you want? Forestview is walking distance to all of the town's main amenities. Once in town, you can easily walk the entire length of the main street, from Arc of Iris restaurant and Morries bar at one end of town to La Scarpetta Trattoria and Pizzica at the other. There is a taxi service in Margaret River, we suggest pre-booking if you are travelling at peak times. In town the Taxi rank outside the Settlers Tavern on the main street and the bus stop is a short walk away on Charles West Avenue. All local tour companies will happily pick you up from your accommodation at Forestview.
