The Good Soul Cottage is a beautifully restored, heritage listed 2 bedroom cottage (circa 1890) tucked away in the heart of Launceston. Meticulously renovated for modern living, it has quite a history. Originally named Goodwin Cottage and renamed to its direct meaning of Good Soul - it exudes a perfect combination of warmth, comfort, soul and style meaning you’ll feel instantly at home. The cottage is within walking distance to Launceston CBD, Silos Hotel, UTAS Stadium, Museum and many more
Hello there, I’m Lydia! I’m a Tasmanian interior designer and together with my hubby Shane, who happens to also be a builder, we have created The Good Soul Cottage. We absolutely love what we do and speak a love language of millimetres and all things design + construction. It has been an absolute dream and one heck of a journey to renovate a heritage cottage in our hometown of Launceston (and to still stay married). We both grew up in Launnie and want to share this slice of heaven with the world. We hope you adore this cottage as much as we do. You will be sent details to the location of a nearby key box. We're available on message if you need us but otherwise you'll be left to enjoy your cottage.
The Good Soul Cottage is within walking distance to Launceston CBD, the bustling Seaport precinct, Silos Hotel, UTAS Stadium, Queen Victoria Museum at Inveresk, James Boags Brewery and many other local attractions. It’s also positioned right at the gateway to the Tamar Valley Wine Route. There is parking onsite as well as a tone of off street parking available.
