Where will I be? Mermaid Cottage is on a corner block in a quiet pocket of Hyams. It is located 100 metres from Little Hyams Beach and an easy five minute walk to the Hyams Beach Cafe. Why choose Mermaid Cottage? This weatherboard cottage is charming with modern features and plenty of light. It has an open plan dining and kitchen with plenty of room to entertain. The wrap around verandah is perfect for sitting back with a book, watching the bird life and enjoying the day. Its proximity to the beach is unbeatable. How is the property laid out? Mermaid Cottage has three bedrooms; two large dormer style rooms upstairs, one large queen bedroom with walk in robe and another generous bedroom with two king single beds. Downstairs is another queen bedroom with built in robe. It has a fully equipped kitchen andEuropean laundry with washer and dryer. Downstairs has a separate lounge, open plan dining and kitchen area and a modern bathroom with a shower / bath. The verandah wraps around three quarters of the house giving you plenty of room to relax, no matter what the weather.

Jervis Bay is a large, pristine bay located 3 hours south of Sydney.  It has crystal clear waters all year round and is famous for its stunning beaches, including Hyam Beach, which claims to have the whitest sand in the world!  Currarong, in the north, is a lovely mid-century holiday village with breathtaking headland walks, safe beaches and rock pools.  In the south, you can visit the popular towns of Huskisson, Vincentia and Hyams Beach, or take a drive through Booderee National Park, arguably one of the prettiest parks in Australia!
