THE SEASIDE COTTAGE is minutes away by car from our stunning, patrolled North and South Curl Curl, Dee Why, Freshwater and Manly beaches with 50-meter ocean rock pools and beautiful coastal walking trails. THE WALK STARTS next to our NCC Surf Life Club on the left. It leads across the headland from NCC and finish above Dee Why rock Pool. It has few resting points above the Ocean, and it's nice to have a picnic there and enjoy that spectacular beauty. From there it is nice easy walk along Dee Why Promenade to Long Reef. TO THE RIGHT OF NCC Surf Life Club is another lovely coastal walking trail with footpath on the dunes, that leads to the board walk above the ocean and to Freshwater Headland FROM THERE you coul walk to Manly and beyond. Like all the beaches around the Northern Beaches, each end of NCC to SCC beach has great surf life clubs and patrolled beaches and 50-meter rock pools, which are great for kids and adults 900m FROM OUR COTTAGE is a selection of restaurants, bottle shops and a coffee shops including our local Mexican, Baccino, Curly on the Corner, Fish and chips, Thai, Newsagency with mixed groceries, bottle shop, butcher and barber. FUTHER DOWN the Pitt street is Post office and Chiropractor, Sushi, coffee & gelato shop, and little vegetarians restaurant "Emilias". AROUND 2.5km FROM HERE is a Warringah Mal Westfield Shopping Centre with its array of shops, food courts and cafes, Hoyts Cinema and children playgrounds and lovely open air spaces ( one with a dolphin fountain ) for dining, using free Wi-Fi and charging mobiles and laptops, or just resting and enjoying fresh air. BETWEEN HERE and the Westfield Shopping Centre is a Brookvale Business Centre, which is becoming trendy place for breweries and gin distilleries, art galleries and cafes.
