Your hosts are Julie and Jason, a married couple who live locally, and their right hand woman Emma. On any given day, you’ll find Julie in the office, managing administration and overseeing that guests have a memorable trip. Jason is the photographer and maintenance hero. Their operations manager, Emma, corresponds with guests and organizes the housekeeping teams.

This beautifully appointed one-bedroom unit has a spacious and bright queen bedroom, laundry facilities, 1.5 bathrooms, full kitchen, balcony, and another queen sofa bed. Ideal for solo travellers, couples, families, or professionals visiting for work, the space has been thoughtfully designed to make your stay easy and enjoyable. Inside, you’ll find a bright and spacious bedroom on the top floor, with a comfortable queen-sized bed and plenty of natural light. The adjoining modern bathroom includes a walk-in shower, fresh towels, and laundry facilities. Soak in the sun on the east facing furnished balcony, directly accessible from the bedroom. There is also a cot available for your use. The downstairs is home to the warm and inviting living area, featuring a cosy lounge, smart TV, and a spacious dining space. A fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need to prepare meals, including a refrigerator, stovetop, oven, microwave, and cookware. The lounge also doubles as a comfortable queen sofa bed, so 2 couples or families can utilise this comfortable home. Despite the peaceful setting, you're only minutes’ drive from the hustle and bustle of Salamanca Market, Hobart’s waterfront, the University of Tasmania, a range of cafés, restaurants, and local shops in the Sandy Bay Strip and South Hobart. You can also choose to walk to the city, which is about 40 minutes, then Uber home. PLEASE NOTE:- the unit is attached to the owners home however there are separate, external entrances to both and parking in on the public street. You can procced down the steep driveway to unload your luggage however the car must be moved up on to the street after that.

This tranquil bushland retreat has many beautiful walks, an abundance of wildlife, and free BBQs dotted all over the reserve. Fantastic for bird spotting, jogging, and letting the kids run off some energy. You can also meander to South Hobart, nestled at the foot of kunanyi/Mount Wellington, offering natural beauty and historic charm. Visitors can explore the scenic walking trails (check out the rivulet walk), visit the iconic Cascade Brewery, or wander through quaint streets lined with heritage cottages and vibrant local cafés. Gingerbrown Cafe is a standout. Also nearby is Sandy Bay, boasting picturesque river views, leafy streets, and a relaxed coastal vibe. It's home to the scenic Short beach, University of Tasmania, and a lively mix of shops, cafés, pubs, and a huge variety of cuisines. This is also the closest area to access essential services and large grocery shops for you.
