Steeped in history and restored to modern perfection, this heritage gem is more than just a cottage - it's a story waiting to be written. With a name that ‘echoes the spiritual bond between individuals’ it’s only fitting that its sibling cottage, Good Soul, is close by. You’ll feel at home from the moment you step through the door!
Hello there, I’m Lydia! I’m a Tasmanian interior designer and together with my hubby Shane, who happens to also be a builder, we have created The Good Soul Cottage. We absolutely love what we do and speak a love language of millimetres and all things design + construction. It has been an absolute dream and one heck of a journey to renovate a heritage cottage in our hometown of Launceston (and to still stay married). We both grew up in Launnie and want to share this slice of heaven with the world. We hope you adore this cottage as much as we do.
