On the estate, guests are welcome to enjoy walks in and around the edge of the forest and to stroll down the grass track between the vineyards to the winter creek and along to the Cowaramup Brewery. The vineyards are working areas where access is restricted for safety reasons. A short walk away through the forest, the cellar door at Treeton Estate is operated by LS Merchants. Specialising in low-intervention wines, tastings are from a selection of current-release wines, with the occasional limited release and back vintage wine. All releases are available to purchase. Check with the LS Merchants website for opening time and special event details. If you are not up to the short stroll, drive along the main access track to the carpark next to the winery.

Treeton Estate is a family-owned agri-tourism business that was started in the late 1970's by David McGowan. David planted the vineyards, built the winery and cellar door and developed the design aesthetic that makes this piece of land so special to our family and guests. The property is owned and managed today by John and Helen, with support from Guest Manager, Zoe Thomas The winery and vineyards are leased to the talented team of viticulturalists and winemakers at LS Merchants.

Valley Cottage is 3km from the cafes, shops and bars in Cowaramup village or a 15 minute drive to both the beach and world-famous surf breaks at Gracetown and the vibrant tourist town of Margaret River. It lies within easy reach of many of the famous local wineries and attractions within the Cape Naturaliste - Cape Leeuwin region. From the cottage, it is a 300m stroll through the forest to the LS Merchants cellar door or 400m past the vineyards and creek to the Cowaramup Brewery next door. While Cowaramup is served by bus, access to a car is necessary as there is no public transport available to the the winery. Off-road bike rentals are available in Cowaramup town providing a great way to explore the region, in particular the quiet back roads on the eastern side of Bussell Highway and the bike trail into Margaret River and Busselton
