We care about our guests experiencing the beauty and quiet of this wonderful property. Fruit Trees, Ornamental Trees, Vineyard and Cellar Door.
Gumeracha is in the Adelaide Hills. The original Pilot Vineyard, Gumeracha Vineyards, established in 1985 by Caj and Genny Amadio have survived the Sampson Flat Bush fire of January 2015. . Originally 9 varieties were planted in 1985, now grafted and producing to Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc. The Vineyard Cottage was built in the 1880's, original stonework. The property has many varieties of Fig Trees, Wilson Wonder Walnut Trees, Nashi Pear, Persimmon, Citrus Trees, Chinese Jasmine, Wissteria, Camellias, Golden Rain Tree (Gladizia), Claret Ash, Silver Birch, Elm, grassed patio area, private and relaxed "stone table" and bench seats. Many Weddings and special functions are held here. Gorgeous Australian Parakeets and birdlife fly freely throughout the property daily. The Vineyard Cottage has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms which suit the wedding party or function organisers to stay and prepare at the Venue. The Mt Bera Cellar Door and Restaurant is adjacent to the BnB site. The Ice and Snow pictures were taken in 2006 and previous 1996. Black nights , brilliant stars when no clouds. Splendid Sunsets to the West, tranquil locale.
