Company information

Digs Lodgings is owned and operated by the Cohen family. We have always loved discovering the great outdoors and the many adventures on offer, as well as spending quality time together as a family. After many years of competing in Ironman and triathlon, Larry discovered the exciting world of mountain biking. He enjoyed it so much, he got the rest of the family involved and now we are all hooked. In early 2017 Larry went on a mates MTB trip to Derby, TAS to ride Blue Tier and Blue Derby. He fell in love with the amazing trails and quaint laid-back town. Not long thereafter the Cohen’s decided to buy an old miners cottage and, after a healthy renovation, Derby Digs Cottage was born. The name “Digs” means lodgings or living quarters, as well as a play on the fact that Derby was an old mining town. In mid-2018 Derby Digs Barn was built. It comfortably sleeps 10 and also enjoy stunning views of the MTB tracks and Ringarooma River. Derby Digs cabin was added in 2021, which sleeps 5. As a family we love the Warburton area especially the beautiful Yarra River and tubing down it on a summer day.

Warburton Digs is a spacious and cozy 4 bedroom house right in the heart of Warburton and the Yarra Valley. Enjoy the stunning vista views of Mount Donna Buang or sit by the wood fire. Just 3 minutes from the centre of town and the Yarra river perfectly located for mountain biking, road riding and relaxing. Enjoy the spectacular bird life. Stunning walks, local markets and traders, Mt Donna Buang look out and more. There is so much to do in the local area. Local attractions include Mt Donna Buang; the glorious Redwood Forest; Aqueduct Trail and more.

The property is large and has a huge garden for the kids to explore in. 4 bedrooms sleep 8 guests and has 4 bedrooms The standout feature would be the decks overlooking the stunning mountains.
