Welcome to Bosanska Avlija (The Bosnian Garden)! A family home turned into modern apartments. In the heart of the city, above the Sebilj fountain, you can be a part of this authentic neighbourhood story! There are three apartments available, of different capacities, each equipped with its own private bathroom and access to a mini kitchen. The garden is perfect for enjoying the first coffee (or kahva) of the day or unwinding and gazing at the sunset sky. The apartments are suitable for groups of varying sizes. We are flexible with the use of the garden as storage for personal belongings such as bicycles, motor bikes, personal luggage and similar. Parking near the house is also available for an added fee of xy BAM. We wish you a pleasant stay and hope you make some memories!
We are a family-run business and take pride in the quality of our service. Our “team” consists of a group made up of mother, father, daughter, and son, with each having their own role :) If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
Sarajevo is known for its long and diverse history—from the Ottoman period, through the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and into Yugoslavia, the city has seen it all. You are located just above Sebilj and Baščaršija, near the City Hall (Vijećnica) and the famous Inat Kuća, where many Sarajevo tours begin. The aromas of ćevapi, burek, sogan dolma, japrak, and one of the most famous bakeries in town—“Mehina Pekara”—are just a 5-minute walk from your accommodation.
