Brussels is well-known as the headquarters of many European institutions and is often called the capital of Europe. However, Belgian waffles, beer and chocolate are just a few of the city’s best-known delicacies that can rival its political reputation.
French and Dutch are city’s two official languages so all streets and landmarks have two different names: don’t be surprised when you look for Grand Place and end up on Grote Markt!
Don’t miss the famous bronze statue aptly named Manneken Pis or the futuristic Atomium, a truly unique architectural creation. Wandering through side streets to discover small bookshops, romantic cafés and ethnic restaurants reveals Brussel's charm.
Brussels is a real melting pot of Europe, filled with great museums and art from Memling, Bosch or Rubens, historic breweries and great concert halls. Shopping addicts can visit the world’s first shopping mall, the Saint Hubert Gallery, opened here in 1847.
If you’re arriving at Brussels Airport or South Charleroi Airport, all major attractions are just a short train or bus ride away. Whether you’re looking for a design hotel, a comfortable apartment or a friendly B&B, Booking.com has something perfect for your Brussels trip.
Easy city to navigate with great public transport.
Easy city to navigate with great public transport. Lovely and friendly people who made the stay much more welcoming.
Would recommend the following locations:
Coffee: Corica Grand Place
Restaurant: Zotte Mouche (Vol au vent, Carbonnade a la flamande are both highly recommended and I can personally guarantee the recommendations uphold the standard) Everything we ordered was delicious
Bars: "Delirium Village" has everything you need from upbeat music of different genres for all types of crowds to lots and lots of beer!
If you're looking for something a bit more relaxed you can visit "A la mort subite"
Will definitely come back in the future!

The Grande Place is a must see, but is usually filled with visitors taking photographs. The area around it is quaint with lots of narrow streets with setts (cobbles) so pulling a suitcase around is tiring. The shopping malls are worth a visit, with coffee shops and chocolate shops in plentiful supply.
The royal palaces are not as grand as those in England.
A ride on a 38 bus from the Central Station drops you at the European Parliament, which was fascinating, even for a Brexiteer.

Plenty of great coffee shops and restaurants to try in Brussels - you also have to try the waffles, chocolate and chips. There is a great food market called WOLF that has loads of different places to eat. Very walkable city with lots to see and the transport is excellent. We took a day trip by train to Ghent - Bruges was also within travelling distance for a day trip. Highly recommend a weekend break in Brussels.

For myself, a night and a full day is enough to spend in Brussels, Besides the Grande Place and the Mannekin Pis (a bit overrated) - I always enjoy going to the art museum there. It is a nice city to finish up a trip because it has a very nice airpoirt to fly out of.

Brilliant city.
Brilliant city. Out of season avoids crowds but so much to see and do within city plus I cannot recommend highly enough the Herge museum, about an hour on the train from Brussels, especially if you love Tintin.
Also away from the tourist areas there are some excellent places to eat and drink with good value for money. Le Lombard fabby bar and value for money food. Service is good too. Just a little more costly is Les Cercle des Voyageurs. Fantastic interior, staff and service, fabulous food and drink and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend booking.

Brussels is a surprising city. Cosmopolitan and friendly.
Brussels is a surprising city. Cosmopolitan and friendly. Millions of restaurants from different cultures, millions of different tastes served with a smile most of the times. The city combines old heritage buildings with new architectures. One corner is traditional, few steps later, you are in the fourteen hundred and then in a modern city...
Museums are beautiful and exhibitions crowded, so people are culturally alive!
Really friendly and welcoming staff! The hotel is in a strategical location, with the subway stop Rogier literally across the street and the train station Brussels North nearby. The city centre basically starts around the corner (Grand Place/Grote Markt is 10-15mins walking or 2 subway stops away). The hotel has a vintage flair, with some Art Nouveau decorations in the reception area and also in the room. Good breakfast buffet with sweet and savory options. I would definitely consider coming back.
It is a lovely hotel. Room size was smaller then expected but it was enough for our needs. We have booked extra spa service (full body massage) and it was divine. We have also used pool facilities which were great, especially that their was barely any people in it. Breakfast was OK, simple but everything was fresh and it was enough for us. Hotel is located about 15 min walk down the hill to the city center which was manageable. I would def recommend this hotel for a stay in Brussels.
Location is perfect for me because it's a 30seconds walk to work. For people that travel for leisure, there are 2 metro stations very close by and it's also quite close to 2 train stations. It's feasible to walk to the city center too but the metro should do the trick for the less active ones.
The staff and the hotel are very nice, it has all you need and even some food/snacks in the lobby.
I'll definitely stay there again whenever I have to come back to Brussels.
The hotel has excellent location between two metro stations - Louise and Munthof from which Gare du Midi is easily accessible hence the airport at Zaventem and other cities in Belgium and Europe. There are bus and tram connections to the center and other regions in Brussels. The breakfast was quite good and always in plenty. The personal was kind and allowed us to leave our luggage before departing to the airport.
The hotel is in an excellent location, walking distance to most important landmarks of Brussels, to the Central train station and to public transport.
It is literally behind the Grand Place, and it you take the elevator to 7 floor at night you have a great view over it.
The breakfast had plenty of choices, and you even can make your own waffles
Stuff at the reception is very nice and helpful.
City center walking distance to various tourist attractions. Polite and professional staff, clean and tidy double-bed room, and spacious leisure area for tourists to relax and take rest. A wide range of restaurants and supermarkets near around the hotel. Also, the paid laundry room for backpackers, A reasonable price for the Aparthotel in Brussels city center.
The staff at Slina were very welcoming and hospitable. They were very accommodating by letting us check in early and changing the bed in our room from two singles to a double. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Best of all it was a close walk (15 min.) to the center of Brussels. Very basic hotel but great for a quiet and comfortable stay.
The location is the best! You are in the "heart" of the best night options, and close to everything in the Grand Place or by tram/metro for other places. Your experience will be the best in Brussels in this hotel. And in the hotel, you have Dandy restaurant, with a very good breakfast and a dinner menu.
The hotel is close to Gare du Midi, 15-20 minutes walk to the city center.
The room was clean and tidy, friendly staff.
The train station is 2 minutes away from the hotel; the Gare du Midi area is not the cleanest in Brussels, but if you need a place close to the train station, it's a great option.
This was my second stay in the Motel One. I chose this hotel because of its location (very close to museums and city center). The value for the money is good. It is not the high end hotel but you get what you are paying for. Good for short stays (I went to Brussels just for the weekend).
Location is excellent, quiet but an easy walk to the city center. Right beside a lovely square with fountains. The room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. The owner is kind and helpful, and his two small dogs are very well-mannered. This hotel was easily the best value on our trip.
Easily one of the best hotels I have stayed in Europe. The location is amazing - next to the Brussels central station and a walking distance from Grand Place. If you take any day trips to Brugge / Ghent etc - most of the tours start from the hotel itself !
Excellent location across the street from the St Michael and St Gudula Cathedral, Brussels, close to the Grand Place. Walking distance from the Royal Palace.
The hotel itself is gorgeous, it decorative.
Complementary drinks and mini waffles.
A good hotel, quiet and clean.. the lady at the reception was very welcoming and helpful, Nice location in the northern part of Brussels, shops and restaurants all around. A 20 minutes walk to La Grand Place that feels like 2 minutes..
The location was very good. It was a 10 minute walk from the city center. The metro station is very close, and there are some supermarkets closeby as well. The location is definitely the best thing about the hotel.
The location of the hotel is great - 10 mins walk from Brussels Noord station and 10-15 mins walk from the city center!
The room was nice and big, as well as the bed and the bathroom.
Amazing boutique hotel very close to the main attractions in Brussels city centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. The coffee station on the first floor was a very great touch.
Best location, 200 m from Brussels central station, 100m to Grand place, surrounded with shops and restaurants. Have a coffee shop and breakfast at hotel ground floor.
