Welcome to Violet B & B Suites! Violet Suites is a design accommodation, by interior designer Marijke Bogaert. The building with a beautiful, historic façade is located right in front of the Begijnhof, which dates back to the 13th century and has been declared a World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO. The rooms are minimalist, spacious and stylishly decorated according to the latest trends. Each room has a queen size bed and some rooms offer an extra single bed. One of the rooms has a terrace where you can enjoy your coffee or an aperitif. All rooms are spacious, bright and have sound insulation. The modern bathrooms have a rain shower and are equipped with bath products. Optionally there is an exquisite continental breakfast that can be enjoyed in your room or in the common area. Coffee is offered with a Nespresso machine.
Restaurants, shops, and supermarkets can be found in the immediate vicinity. Within a 5-minute walk, you can reach Shopping Center Gent Zuid, where you will find numerous shops and cafés. The trendy Vlaanderenstraat is 500 meters away. In this chic street, you will find luxury shops and you can enjoy a culinary experience. This is also the beginning of the historic center. After a pleasant walk, you are at the most important sights of Ghent, such as The Belfry, The Gras - and Korenlei, Sint-Baafs Cathedral, and The Gravesteen Castle.
