A private luxurious mountain retreat, near hiking and mountain biking trails, perfect for a large family or group of friends. Every window of the house offers a beautiful mountain view. On the first floor, there is a large living area with a table for twelve people, comfortable leather sofas, a fireplace, a TV corner and an open plan kitchen with all appliances. The TV has subscriptions to basic Cable, and Netflix. An outdoor patio furnished with a seating area and a barbecue corner provides unparalleled views of the sunset. The covered garage can hold two cars, ski, biking and other gear. There is space for four more cars within the fenced yard. The third floor of the property has three bedrooms with a total of four Queen size beds, a lounge area with a fire stove and a balcony. Please note, a chapel and a small village cemetery can be seen in the view to the west of the house.

While living and working in the US, UK, China and Cyprus, we created this place for our family holidays. We tried to make it as comfortable as possible. Our friends and family have always enjoyed visiting. We hope that you will too.

Stoykite is a quiet village in one of the most beautiful parts of the Rhodope mountains. It is a 5 minute drive from the ski lifts of Pamporovo and many hiking and biking trails. The area is a favorite vacation spot for mountain lovers and a year-round destination for outdoor recreation. There is a space observatory in Rhozhen offering night sky observations to the public. The TV tower on Snezhanka peak offers stunning view over the mountain range. There is horseback riding during the months July, August and September. The nearby peak of Perelik holds an annual jazz festival in July, and there is an annual International Bagpipe Contest in Gela, as well as many other venues and activities for adults and kids alike. The house is located near the Smolian-Stoykite road, at an elevation of 1501 meters. The 50 metres gravel road leading to the house from the mainroad is also cleaned during snowfall. During the winter it is advised that all cars travelling through the area are fitted with winter tires and chains as appropriate. Due to the elevation temperatures can be as low as 4 degrees centigrade during summer evenings and can drop to -30 in the winter months.
