Our house in Guaeca is the refuge of our family on many weekends and holidays. It is close to the beach (about 600 meters walking) but can also go by car. It is in a gated community with total security. It is large and easily sleeps up to 9 people so it is ideal for families and groups. The condominium is in a protected area of ​​the Atlantic Forest and our house in particular is surrounded by forest. Silence at night ensures a complete and refreshing rest. Maresias, Toque Toque and other nearby beaches provide excellent restaurants and nightlife. The raft for Ilhabela is 15 minutes from our house. IMPORTANT: 1) The house has two stairs of 13 to 15 steps and IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PEOPLE WITH LOW MOBILITY. 2) Guaeca does not have any type of trade. Therefore, consider that you will have to use the car to get to the closest business (about 8 minutes) in Baraqueçaba. 3) We do not offer bedding or towels as they could deteriorate in periods of non-use. 4) We may have to reject bookings started on Sunday if the occupation of the house does not allow a previous cleaning.
My name is Silvia and it will be my pleasure to welcome you to our house. She has been in our family since it was built in 1982. For many years we were the only ones to enjoy it, but with our growing children we decided to share the possibility of rest and recuperation that it offers
The pace is different in Guaeca, slower. Every minute provides renewed energy. The beach has a lot to do with it, it is a flat beach, ideal for families and with gentle waves most of the time. They say it's ideal for those who want to learn surfing. There are no shops in Guaeca. It may seem annoying not to have shops or restaurants close by, but think that for that reason those who go there only seek rest. The contact with nature is constant and the preservation of the beach and the surrounding Atlantic Forest is a Divine gift. In a radius of 20 kilometers we have other beautiful beaches like Maresias, Paúba, Santiago, Toque Toque Grande, Toque Toque Pequeno, Calhetas. In many of them you can find delicious restaurants. The city of São Sebastião is 10 kilometers away and has total trade and health infrastructure. The ferry to Ilhabela, a true paradise for adventure sports, is a 15-minute drive away.
