The cottage, constructed in 2022, features a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding, and amenities ready for your stay. Wake up to the soothing sounds of the ocean and witness spectacular sunsets over the Sooke Basin. With easy access to 211 ft of private beach and coves, guests can enjoy the beauty of nature right at their doorstep. A peaceful creek runs along the property, where one can do yoga and be enveloped in the sounds of peace and relaxation. A pure healing haven.
Accommodations in the cottage include a queen bed with Beautyrest Hotel 4 Luxury mattress, bunk beds, and a sectional sleeper in the living room. Lots of bedding, blankets, a wardrobe (shelves, hangers), TV, lamp, and fan. Adorned with beautiful First Nations art by Lon French, Haida Gwaii, the cottage exudes nature, honouring the land, animals, and Coast Salish (Lkwungen/Scia’new/T'Sou-ke peoples) Nation in which we explore, play, breathe, and reside.

The Cottage's design reflects modern West Coast aesthetics, featuring a stamped coloured concrete deck patio with a gas BBQ, propane Fire Pit, beach access, and cove exploration. Ideal for couples, families, cyclists, paddlers, and nature lovers, the cottage accommodates up to four guests. Enjoy your coffee on the patio or swing overlooking the Sooke Basin, with direct beach access enjoying seals, otters, eagles, clams, oysters, crabs, sea stars, geese, deer, and more. Truly an educational and healing experience for each person and/or the whole family.
Wake up to magical views of the ocean and trees in a restful and mindful way. The interior boasts a spacious layout with one large bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area and a large bathroom (shower/tub). The living room includes a comfy sleeper sectional to cozy up and watch movies on the 55” screen with streaming services. Heated bathroom floors create warmth among the ruggedness of the trees and ocean.

The area is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, easily accessible from the Cottage, which is only a 15-minute drive to Sooke or the Westshore and a 45-minute drive to Victoria and the ferry.
East Sooke provides numerous recreational opportunities, including fishing, paddle boarding, cycling, hiking, zip line, horseback riding, geocaching, and more. The popular Galloping Goose trail runs adjacent to the cottage, providing direct access for outdoor activities. The Sooke Basin offers the perfect place to hang out, kayak or paddle board. Nearby regional parks and attractions make it an ideal location for adventurers and nature lovers. Seals and orcas are a beautiful sight to see!

With parking for up to 4 vehicles, direct access to the Galloping Goose trail, and a 1-minute walk to the public bus stop, The Cottage offers convenience and ease. Explore Sooke, Langford/Colwood shopping, and downtown Victoria within easy driving distances. Downtown Victoria is vibrant with must see's at the Royal BC Museum, Butchart Gardens, Butterfly World, and lots of amazing dining/shopping experiences. The East Sooke Store and Eats (Food Trucks) are just 3 minutes away, providing local amenities for a memorable getaway. Car/Bike is recommended, as bus times may vary.
