Great for kids and newbies, and not too crowded. Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream Famous ice cream with roots in Bobcaygeon and Minden (note: the Minden location is the closest). Haliburton Sculpture Forest 10 minutes away, great for hikes with fun sculptures for kids. Snowshoeing in the winter. Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve 30 minutes away. Skyline Park 10-minutes away and offers a great lookout of Haliburton (especially beautiful in the Fall).
