Keana's Home is a newly constructed modern 3 bedroom house situated inland in Matavera district, northeast of the island. Our holiday home provides secluded privacy in a quiet residential area surrounded by the natural landscape . The large deck opens into the plunge pool which overlooks the mountain view. Keanas Home provides comfort with large spacious rooms and setting which gives travelers the freedom to feel at home whilst on holiday . Close to popular cafes, bars, restaurants, 24 hour grocery store, great coffee and fresh croissants. Avarua main town and the popular Muri beach is a 10mins drive and the Rarotonga International Airport is 20mins drive.

Kia Orana, Together with my husband we have expanded our property development into a holiday home to support travelers wanting to enjoy our little paradise and escape the hotel limitations and relax in a holiday home setting. Rarotonga is a small community and there is no need for maps and a closed accommodation setting. Keanas Home provides large space for families and groups to enjoy the freedom to do as they like. A bit about our-self, my husband Olaf and I are both born and educated in Rarotonga and attended university in Auckland. We are first time parents and enjoying working for the Cook Islands Government. Matavera (traditionally known as Rangiatea) is the smallest of the five districts that make up the island of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. Matavera is located in the northeast of the island, to the east of the district of Avarua, and north of the district of Ngatangiia. Keanas Home is situated inland and nearby dairy stores for daily grocery supplies, close to the popular Muri Beach and Avarua township. The beauty of Matavera is breathtaking in the sense that Keanas home is nicely tucked in a quite residential area that the mountain views and beautiful landscape. Not to worry a car ride will get you to all the places you need such as popular Love cafes which provides great coffee and food on the go. Moorings Cafe has the best fish sandwiches and you will find ATMs and Banks in Avarua town.
