Oasis Palmeira was built by an Italian developer and the standard & quality is of European standards. From Italian tiles to hand painted murals on the front of the property, it is popular with not only tourists but residents on the island. The studio is located on the first floor and we live in the building so are close at hand for any emergencies should they arise. It has a comfortable double bed with bedside cabinets & reading lamps.. The galley kitchen has a gas hob, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, air fryer & electric grill. There is also dining table & 4 chairs. and outside coffee table & 2 chairs for smokers (NON SMOKING INSIDE). The bathroom has a shower & bidet and cabinet for toiletries. It is in a residential area but close enough to town to be able to walk in 5 mins and close enough to the beach to be there in 2 minutes (Praia Antonio Sousse). The famous ex world champion windsurfer Josh Angulo has a beach bar there and there are other bars & restaurants near to the property. We have made every effort to make the apartment as homely as possible and to provide everything you need to make your stay more comfortable. As we live next door, should you need something we have not provided, we will more than happy to try to accommodate you.

Stephen & I are both from Sheffield, South Yorkshire in the UK. We first visited Sal in 2004 after seeing a television programme on Cape Verde. I was a travel agent and had never even heard of it! We both fell in love with Cape Verde so much that we bought a holiday home here. We decided to move here permanently 18 years ago after selling up everything and arriving with a suitcase each! We bought another property and we rent out our holiday home. We live onsite so we are able to deal with any emergencies quickly. Oasis Palmeira is on the Tanquinho Norte area, which is just one main road back from the beach of Praia Antonio Soussa. It is a residential neighbourhood but the main centre of Santa Maria is 5 minutes walking distance. Across the road is a medical centre as well. There are 3 supermarkets across the road and nearby there are 2 bars & 3 restaurants. The main town is a short distance for lots of other bars & restaurants.
