Our house is a lovely old farmhouse we bought a few years back and have been renovating since. We are very fond of old houses and we tried to keep the original rural atmosphere during the complete renovation combined with modern equipment. The house has got thick stone walls that provide naturally nice climate even in the summer. There are several big walnut trees in the garden that are nice to look at. The flat is fully equipped including new beds with comfortable mattresses. A fireplace can warm up space even during rainy or cold summer days or make a cozy atmosphere during winter. We breed hen and three cats (only one is friendly enough to contact you :-)). Our house and garden is a joyful and peaceful place full of life and a result of years of hard work of all my family. I and my husband would like to share a part of it with our guests.

I am a mid-thirties occupational therapist and reupholsterer, recently a mother of one child and a keen old house and furniture saver. Our house is located in the older part of the village, near the river Elbe, right on the bicycle path from Roudnice nad Labem to Litoměřice. A bistro "U Sumce" is few hundred meters far (small refreshment, big playground for children). Restaurant "Pod Lipou" about 1 km far. In the summer season is possible to buy seasonal vegetables right from the farmer (1-minute walk). Town of Roudnice nad Labem is in a 20-minute walking distance with and you will get the best view of the castle and old town while walking over the bridge. Nearby sites to visit are for example Litoměřice, castle Ploskovice, mountain Říp that has mythological significance in the history of Czech lands and a lot of other destinations. It is possible to catch a fast train from Roudnice to Prague (approx. 50 minutes). There is a swimming pool in the village, and it is possible to swim in the river during the summer or nearby sand lakes in Dobříň. There are several volleyball or beach volleyball playgrounds to rent within 1 km as well as large petanque fields.
