Welcome to the Minister’s House of 1849, a listed historic manor full of charm and character. High ceilings, original Biedermeier doors, antique mirrors, and an impressive wooden staircase give the house its unique atmosphere. Once home to an aristocratic family, the villa was modernized in 2000 and lovingly renovated and newly furnished by us in 2019. The house is ideal for larger groups, companies, and private guests looking for an extraordinary location for seminars, workshops, retreats, meetings, photo shoots, or relaxing days in the countryside. Families with children, friends, couples, and tradespeople are all very welcome – parties of any kind are strictly prohibited. On the ground floor, you will find three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, and a spacious seminar room with flat screen, whiteboard, foosball table, and direct access to the terrace overlooking the park-like garden. In the basement, there is a modern bathroom with rain shower as well as a guest WC. The upper floor offers five further bedrooms, a second, fully equipped kitchen with steam oven, Teppanyaki grill plate and bar counter, a stylish living and dining room, a large bathroom, and an additional guest WC. The location right next to a nature reserve ensures peace and relaxation, while the nearby A1 and A2 motorways provide easy access to the Ruhr area, Münsterland, and Sauerland. Hi there and a warm welcome to our place. People would describe us as open-minded and friendly hosts who are always happy to lend a helping hand. What we love most about being hosts is meeting people from all over the world and offering them a “temporary home,” whether their stay is short or long. It’s incredibly enriching to experience so many different cultures and stories, and to see how our guests enjoy their time away. We also enjoy sharing personal tips about the area to help create unique and memorable experiences.
