This traditional hotel offers country-style rooms, free Wi-Fi internet and free parking. It lies in Bodenmais, in the heart of the Bavarian Forest, a 10-minute walk from the train station. At the non-smoking Haus Iris hotel, all single rooms and most double rooms feature a balcony. Guests are welcome to use the indoor swimming pool, wellness area and fitness studio free of charge at the nearby WellSportAktiv-Zentrum leisure centre. Haus Iris provides a rich breakfast buffet each morning, which is included in your room rate. A small evening menu is available in the restaurant between September and May. During the summer, barbecues in the garden are very popular. Guests receive an aktivCard Bayerischer Wald which allows free entries or discounts to many sights and activities in the region. It also includes a free pass for the regional public transport. The area offers cross-country ski trails in winter and you will find a stop for the ski bus nearby.
