Our Wine Cellar is a very special place to visit and spend your holiday. You are welcome to bring your dog to the wine cellar to also enjoy the family vacation. We have one of the very few private wine cellars to actually rent as an apartment. The architecture of the wine cellar boasts the curved U shape and the back wall is original slate. The wine cellar has a full oak BAR and a wine barrel table to enjoy your special holiday. The Wine Cellar has a beautiful new and modern bathroom inclusive of a men's urinal always a nice touch! You will find an induction stove top and a microwave/grill oven, sink, dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer to do any cooking. We have all dishware and pots and pans available for your personal use. Lastly, a flat screen tv with NETFLIX is located in the apartment for your enjoyment. You can do so many hikes and walking day trips right from the Wine Cellar Front door. We will be happy to suggest some hikes in our area and if your bicycle, you can hit the MOSELRAD WEG that sits just 200 meters away in front of our home.
My passion is to take a home that has been neglected and abused and to turn it into a spectacular place to call home! It took three years to renovate this historical slate home in Brauneberg built in 1904. The renovations were completed in 2019 and we are pleased and proud to share our special home that includes the Wine Cellar Apartment with you! The Wine Cellar Apartment has the character of the old wine cellar U shape rooms built to store wine while our Old Gemeinde House Apartment was created, in contrast, to provide a modern luxury feeling as its ceilings are over 4 meters high.
Unlike most towns that sit along the Mosel River, Brauneberg is special as we have over 40 benches and 20 picnic tables available in our town for you to enjoy the afternoon down by the Mosel River. You can also a boat tour toward Neumagen-Dron or past Bernkastel-Kues a few times a week right from the Brauneberg dock! Brauneberg has some fabulous restaurants right in town that are within walking distance. Heinrich Kriebs-LaVitrine Restaurant, Juffer Flair and Klosterschenke all should be on your list to try out!
