Augsburg is a very elegant and beautiful city. The streets are lined with colorful stylish buildings, most rebuilt to the original plans following one of the heaviest allied bombings in 1944. The church of St Ulrich & Afra is a marvel, as is the Golden Hall in the Rathaus. The unique water system and the Fuggerei social housing complex also make Augsburg stand out in a historical context

Beautiful, clean city, with very interesting architecture.
Beautiful, clean city, with very interesting architecture. It is worth to visit Schaezlerpalais and the house of Leopold Mozart. It is very easy to walk throught the city where you can find everything you need. There is many nice restaurants, where they offer good and tasty food or small caffes for good coffee with a great cake. Our favorite restaurant was Aposto Augsburg.

A really interesting place with beautiful architecture.. but very busy. We were really interested in the small museum upstairs in St Anna’s church about Luther. It was very informative and well put together. The hotel Jakoberhof was right opposite the Feuggeri - the oldest social housing project in the world which was fascinating. We ate once at Burger meets Falafel which was just round the corner from the hotel.

Augsburg is rich in culture.
Augsburg is rich in culture. All the sightseeing spots are accessible with the street train and by walking. Diverse food culture. The locals were gracious enough to help us with giving us directions etc in English so we were thankful for that.
We’ll go back again in a heartbeat.
The best thing about this hotel is definitely the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and nice at all times. We checked in after the reception was already closed, but everything was perfectly prepared for our arrival. In the room we were welcomed by a small personalized note on a blackboard on the wall and a complimentary cookie and water. There is a very spacious parking lot available as well. The breakfast was small but very good in terms of quality and freshness of the food.
We chose the Dom Hotel because we had been there in 2019 and had a good experience then. It is located a block outside the tourist area which made it quieter but still close. Our room, 105, was large, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable too. Their breakfast is excellent with all the potential choices of a high quality. They also have a very safe area for storing bicycles. My encounters with the staff were always pleasant.
The room was clean and modern, and quite large. I was worried about some footballers upstairs, but didn't hear them and, despite being on the first floor, did not hear anything from the restaurant/bar downstairs, or traffic from the road, so their soundproofing was first rate.
The quality was comparable to a big, anonymous chain hotel, but with touches that gives it personality.
The hotel is OK for a night or two, if you look for a budget hotel in Augsburg. It was nice to have the 2 rooms together and connected with an internal door, it was like having a bigger room with 2 bathrooms.
Location is great for visiting the city.
Beds are comfortable. Hotel although full (at least the parking was full), was very quiet.
After hassling with long walks to find our hotels in other places, it was nice to just walk next door from the train station. Staff are fluent in English and were helpful to this American in getting oriented to Augsburg. I was surprised how quiet it was so close to the trains.
It is a really nice hotel, with free parking and friendly, helpful people. The room is specious the beds are comfortable.
It is a walking distance from the city center (approx. 14-20 minutes walking) / there is a tram to the city center as well.
Wonderful elegant hotel with very impressive management, concerned for the well-being of the guests, finding time to speak to all of them.
Will definitely return when in Bavaria. Good option for easy journey or commute to Munich.
The hotel is conveniently located near the city centre and has a nearby walking trail surrounded by greenery. However, the view from the fourth floor is disappointing. The check-in and check-out processes are quick and hassle-free.
The staff were very helpful. Our luggage was lost at the airport and they helped trying to track down information. The hotel is right next to the old town so perfectly positioned for Christmas Markets and visiting
The breakfast buffet was much better than I expected for a Hostel (and even for a hotel in that price range). Though it is a hostel, my room felt more luxerious than in many hotels I have been for work travels.
The rooms were clean and we had all we needed. The hotel was right next to the train and very close to a stop which made it convenient to the city. There was a parking lot for hotel guests in the rear.
Location was good breakfast was very good the staff in the breakfast were friendly but the cleaning was not that good nice hotel I would stay again in the same hotel if they manage the rooms cleaning
Comfortable and super clean room, very good breakfast, free and secure parking, modern concept and decor, extremely reasonable for the quality of the hotel, and a highly commendable green ethic.
Clean, spacious, quiet room, very good breakfast, good location, not so far from the city center. Possibility to have a dinner in the hotel, a very good one. Very kind staff.
