It is all located on the ground floor, where the car can be parked right outside. Furthermore, there is access to your own small terrace, as well as the opportunity to go for a walk in the beautiful park-like garden, where you can let the calm wash over you by the pond, or you can continue down to the bottom of the garden, where you can sit with a glass of wine on the terrace right down by the creek. In the apartment there is a sofa arrangement with television connected to the cromecast, so you can watch the movies and shows that you are used to and in your own language. In addition, there is a dining area, as well as wine glasses, plates and cutlery, like you are used to. If you are into disposable service ware, then this is also an option. We live in Skærbæk, because we want to live directly down to the water, as well as close to the forest and a fantastic nature. We can do this here, while living very close to the city and the cultural opportunities it offers. We are former scouts, orienteering runners and have bees in the area. Our two children have moved away from home, which is why their rooms in the separate annex have now become vacant. Since we have plenty of space, we agreed that it could be fun to rent them out so that others could also have the opportunity to enjoy this lovely place. Because we both work, a key box has been set up at the entrance to the annex, so it is possible to check in around the clock. Skærgårdvej is a beautiful road with many tall old trees, which is located on the outskirts of Rind Plantage. The town of Skærbæk consists of approx. 30 households, as well as the folk high school "Skærgården". There are many opportunities for walks in the woods or cycling in the lovely area. You will be able to experience that the "city dwellers" from the area regularly visit the city, among other things, due to its beautiful location and the possibility of swimming in the lake, which is located approx. 300 m from our home. In the field by the bathing lake and in the bottom of our backyard you can also greet Scottish Highland cattle. If you want to go to the city, Herning is close by. There you have the opportunity to visit different cultural places such as: Herning Art Museum and Heart, Elia, get something good to eat or go to a music event in Herning Congress Center. There are also large fantastic events in Messecenter Herning, so there are many options. In addition, a trip to the beautiful Ringkøbing close to the North Sea will not disappoint you.
