Sosua offers two beautiful caribbean beaches - "Sosua beach" is famous for a nice calm bay, great for snorceling in cristal clear water, almost no waves and local shags with bars, restaurants and souvenir shops under old trees for shade and the second newer, but quieter "Playa Alisia" also located in town center. Cabarete is worldwide known to be a Mecca for wind and kite-surfing, but you can also do wave-surfing and many other water-sports like SUP (stand-up-paddle-boarding). The condominium BluFish is located in Perla Marina, a gated ocenfront community between Sosua and Cabarete. Guests like to stroll there along the coastline, buy stuff and cool drinks at the mini market and eat out in one of the restaurants here- you can do even yoga lessons. Having a rental car would be convenient but is not absolutly essential, From BlueFish you reach the main road in about 5-10 walking minutes to catch a "Guagua" or "Carro Publico" (minibus or regular car used as public transportation).
