Tunis Tone is a Campsite and Eco-lodge at Tunis Village on a high hill lake Qaroun.
Our lodge is located 2 hours away from Cairo in Fayoum Oasis, surrounded by untouched wilderness and stunning views of the lake, the fields, and the desert.
Organize safari trips in Fayoum desert, Wadi Al-rayan, magic lake, Al- Modawara Mountain, Valley of the whales, the petrified forest, Samuel dunes, Madinet Mady, white desert and black desert.
Organize artistic exclusive variety of pottery and handmade crafts workshops.
Organize horse back riding, quad bikes and boat trips in the village and by the lake.
Tunis Village is famous now for the arrival in the 1980’s of Evelyne Porret, A Swiss woman and Potter who opened her own Pottery studio with her husband, and very quickly turned it into a pottery School to teach all the local children how to make pottery items and encourage them to become budding Potters. It still exists today with all the children in the village still creating pottery and earning money for their families.
