Property information
The pueblo ARDALES is a typical Andalucian whitewashed village. The village plaza buzzes with life and families sit out enjoying a drink with friends late into the summer evenings. The village has a selection of shops, banks, bars and restaurants. Ardales is situated at the edge of Ardales National Park which is one of Spain's best kept secrets.
The park consists of a series of turquoise lakes set in magnificent mountain scenery ideal for hiking, climbing, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, bird watching etc. Sunbeds, pedalos and canoes are available for hire at the lakes. There are also a selection of restaurants with lakeside views. Close by is the famous El Chorro gorge - EL CAMINO DEL REY. The village of Ardales has wonderful caves and trips can be booked from the museum. Also near by is the village of Carratraca with it´s Roman baths, fantastic views and authentic Bull ring. There is a bus stop within Ardales with regular services into Malaga, Ronda, Alora & other local villages
