Our recently restored historic building offers apartments in the heart of Alicante that have an air of quality, and are full of small details that combine historical architecture with contemporary interior design. We are in a very fun area with a lot of nightlife, therefore if you are looking for an accommodation to go to sleep early, this is not your place. We have lively bars very close. For this reason we do not accept children under 18 years of age in our accommodation. • Our building has an elevator • Fully equipped kitchens, full bathrooms with towels for all guests, as well as a hairdryer, shampoo and shower gel • Each apartment has a security access code personalised for each guest • There is a private car park (paying) in front of the building. Parking Canalejas.

Neighbourhood information

Balmis Plaza Apartments offers accommodation at the centre of Alicante. The sea and the famous Explanada by the sea, the most famous shopping areas and the main restaurants streets are just a couple of minutes away walking from the building. The area is the guests' favourite part of Alicante. We are in a very fun area with a lot of nightlife, if you are looking for an accommodation to go to sleep early, this is not your place. Our building was constructed at the beginning of the 20th century. It was renovated in 2019 in a sophisticated way, and it is full of carefully taken care details. Located at the peculiar and historical Doctor Balmis Plaza, a calm bastion within the city centre, and less than a minute's walk from the quirky little streets where you'll find terraces, restaurants, breweries and all different types of cuisine. From there you can walk to the beach, visit the old town and the Teatro Principal, or ride the elevator up to Santa Bárbara Castle, etc. The nearest airport is Alicante airport, which is 9 km from the city centre. You can reach the city by car, taxi or bus. The nearest train station is 900 meters. The perfect location for exploring the city!!
