Beach Resort La Margarita (registered in the Tourism Register of Catalonia ATT-000033) is located in a very quiet Mediterranean coast area with views to the sea and direct access to the Arenal beach in L'Hospitalet de l'Infant, far from the tourist inrush, 1h15 south of Barcelona.
We, a Swiss couple, have been living in Spain for many years. We live on the premises and will support you with any question you might have regarding your stay. Our goal is to make your holidays unforgettable!
Beach Resort La Margarita is located on the Costa Dorada, in L’Hospitalet de l’Infant, a village about an hour’s ride to the south of the lively cultural metropolis Barcelona. L’Hospitalet de l’Infant (approx. 5400 inhabitants) enjoys all the amenities of a fully developed tourist center but fortunately has not been spoiled by mass tourism (no large hotels). The landscape has been preserved in its genuine natural state and is characterized by a unique combination of sea and mountains, with luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation (palm trees, pine trees, bougainvilleas, oleander etc.). Long, sandy beaches alternate with cozy little bays, against a backdrop of imposing rocky mountains. The warm colors of the earth and of the rocks, the bright colors of the diverse vegetation combine with the turquois of the sea to paint a magic picture for your perfect holiday. In this varied countryside a wide choice of outdoor activities awaits you, ranging from all kinds of water sports to hiking or biking in the mountains. Discover the rich cultural heritage of the region as you choose among a wide array of fascinating excursion sites nearby. We'll be happy to suggest excursions nearby!
