Since we moved to Spain in 2021, we, Paul and his daughters are the proud owners of Can Jan Vives. We live in this beautiful country home together with our dog, Jules, located in Vidreres, Catalonia, Spain. The house is renovated by us personally and has a private pool(seasonal), terrace, and garden.

Property information

Can Jan Vives is a beautiful Spanish casa rural, located just outside of the small village Vidreres in the province of Girona. The house dates back to the 19th century and has been carefully renovated to retain its original character and charm. Can Jan Vives offers guests a unique opportunity to experience traditional Catalan life. The house has four bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. There is also a beautifull backyard with a swimmingpool, BBQ area, and places to relax. Guests can explore the surrounding countryside on foot or by mountain bike, and there are numerous hiking and cycling routes nearby. Please keep in mind that we do allow dogs but only if requested and accepted before booking. We do not always accept all requests depending on the booking dates. We charge a 10 euro fee for a dog. Mind yourself, breakfast is not included in bookings.

Neighbourhood information

Vidreres is central (15-30 minutes) to Tossa de Mar, Lloret de Mar, Blanes, and Girona. This makes it a great place to explore the Costa Brava. In only 50 minutes either by car or by train you will arrive in Barcelona, Catalonia’s Capital city.
