The dining and kitchen area gives a spacious open plan feeling seating overlooked by a kitchen that generously comprises all major appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, oven and hob as well as all the cutlery you will need. Perfect for alfresco dining, surrounded by mountains and looking out onto a lovely landscaped garden, the exterior of the property features a 10 x 5 metre swimming pool as it's centrepiece along with a barbecue and pizza. The swimming pool is heated in the summer.

My parents purchased Casa Alexandra in the summer of 2006 after falling in love with the town of Xativa on a chance holiday with some relatives. Having retired, they sold up in England and achieved the dream of living abroad for 4 amazing years. Casa Alexandra is located on the outskirts of one of Spain's hidden gems; the beautiful historic town of Xativa, once the capital of Valencia and the birthplace of the Borgias. The town offers an excellent choice of restaurants and cafés complemented by a variety of smart modern shops, beautiful architecture and tree lined avenues. The old town is a sight seeing delight; from the splendid cathedral and medieval castle which sits high on a mountain overlooking the town, to a local market twice weekly and a nightlife that buzzes with friendly family atmosphere on the weekends. On the doorstep of the villa there are several scenic walks with lovely mountain views meaning hiking and mountain biking are a favourite pastime for many. Bixquert tennis club with a bar and restaurant is close by as well as the towns excellent railway station which provides only a 40 minutes journey to Valencia. And if it's a beach you are after, then a 30 minute car ride takes you to the gorgeous sands of Tavernes or Gandia.
